The former Hodsock dairy has been redeveloped to become a contemporary meeting venue with lots of green credentials. With help and support from DEFRA’s Rural Development Programme for England and East Midlands Development Agency, we’ve created a small exclusive meeting venue with five star service and accommodation to match.
The executive meeting room comfortably holds 20 delegates in board room style and up to 25 in theatre style. The Courtyard benefits from having an integrated kitchen and dedicated event team meaning that your meeting runs smoothly and swiftly.
The Courtyard is a WiFi hotspot and has integrated audio visual equipment - which are included in all meeting rates and delegate packages. The self contained meeting centre has a reception area for welcoming and registering delegates.
The meeting room is bright and calm with dark wooden floors and pale walls and there’s lots of natural light from the Georgian style doors. The furniture is modern, functional and comfortable and can be restructured to suit a formal or informal layout.
We’re committed to preserving our environment and the Courtyard has been designed to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum. The heating uses solar and thermal sources and the building is sympathetic to its surroundings. We’ve also implemented a local sourcing policy. From the artisan breads for the lunchtime sandwiches to the jam and marmalade on the breakfast tray, we source our handmade food from the best suppliers using locally grown produce.
