TV, Film & Photo shoots
The traditional furnishing and decor of Hodsock Priory provides a great location for film and photo shoots - full of character, warmth and atmosphere.
Hodsock featured on BBC Two “A Garden in Snowdonia – Bodnant Risen” as an example of a Winter Garden that attracts over 25,000 visitors. Hodsock gave Bodnant Garden in Wales (National Trust) several hundred snowdrops to start their collection.
We were also featured in an episode of BBC One's "The Big Day", photos of which can be seen above.
We have also featured on BBC's Gardener's World with Alan Titchmarsh.
Hodsock weather report live on GMTV
On a freezing January morning at 5.00am the GMTV Satellite Broadcast van arrived. Out popped Kirsty McCabe – the new GMTV Weather Presenter, eager to see the famous Hodsock Snowdrops.
Within the hour, she was live to camera, speaking to the London Studio and then to millions of viewers across the UK. She and her team had trawled the country and found that Hodsock was the only place where snowdrops were coming through despite the coldest January for 13 years.
She broadcast the weather live from Hodsock every half an hour until 9.30am
