| Wedding receptions at Hodsock PrioryBring the whole family together for a wedding reception in South Yorkshire. Wedding receptions at Hodsock Priory range from intimate get togethers to big family knees up. We tend to host wedding ceremonies in the Panelled Hall (for up to 80 guests) or in the Library for more relaxed and informal marriage celebrations. The wedding reception usually takes place in the Pavilion, Bar and Ante-Room. Each room is steeped in heritage with ornate fixings and luxurious finishes, the décor provides a perfect backdrop for colourful flowers and themed dressing. The Pavillion The newly refurbished pavilion is a refined dining and entertainment room and is the main room for your wedding reception. The intricate plasterwork is adorned with natural light that floods through the Georgian windows. Looking out over the Italian Terrace there are breathtaking views of the Hodsock gardens. The Pavilion is a light and airy room to enjoy fine dining and celebrations. We’ve created a sophisticated blank canvas that can be tailored, dressed and themed. Sitting in a traditional cabaret style, 120 guests can celebrate your special day with you. In the evening, the Pavilion is transformed for your wedding reception and you can extend your invitations up to 250. The Library and Ante RoomFor smaller wedding parties, the Ante Room and Library are fantastic secluded rooms with homely comforts. They are ideal for dining and entertaining and strings or vocals work really well in these rooms too. Evening partiesRock, Jazz and pop are all played live here in the Pavillion. There’s plenty of room for the band, lighting and sound equipment and the rest is left for guests to boogie the night away. Complement this with selected canapés, buffet or why not try a BBQ and a well stocked bar keeps the drinks flowing. A great finale to your special day.
