What's on at SnowdropsWe are working hard to finalise the 2013 Snowdrops programme. Here is what we did this year - and 2013 will be bigger and better. Official opening day Join us on 4th February for free Snowdrop cake and samples of The Drop real ale to celebrate the official opening of the Snowdrop Garden. Our first tree will be planted in the Diamond Jubilee Wood. Daily historic Hodsock talks 11am, 2pm meet in the Panelled Hall Café bar Open Daily 4th February – 4th March Mr Ford's Potting Shed Open weekends only Enjoy a bacon butty and cuppa by the bonfire each weekend at Mr Ford’s Potting Shed. Valentine's at Snowdrops 14th February – Romantic Dinner from just £50 per person We’re hosting an intimate dining event at Hodsock Priory for couples celebrating Valentine’s Day. Enjoy a four course meal in the Panelled Hall. Include a romantic overnight stay at our five star Courtyard B&B and entry to the Snowdrop garden for just £200 per couple. Hodsock food and craft fair (no additional entry charges) 18th/19th & 25th/26th February Snowdrops at Hodsock will host a local produce food and craft fair showcasing the best in regional products from ceramics and textiles to pies and cheese. Guest gardeners talks (£1 entry fee) 22 February, 11am and 2pm Jamie Dunstan will be giving talks on his Gold Award at RHS Chelsea Flower Show. 23 February, 11am and 2pm George Buchanan talks about Snowdrops at Hodsock. Learn more about how our Snowdrop Garden was established and the history of our country house estate. 24th February 11am and 2pm Rose Hardy our local RHS gardener will give practical advice on winter gardening and gardening tips for scent and colour.
