Your wedding morning
Whichever location you choose for your wedding ceremony, you can enjoy beautiful and peaceful spaces to prepare.
Whether you choose our sumptuous Dressing Room or our inviting Library, you can enjoy a private champagne brunch in in our idyllic country house.

Weddings in the Priory
Hodsock Priory’s five licensed wedding ceremony rooms offer a choice of traditional and modern décor for a truly unique wedding venue.
For those looking for a sense of history and tradition, the Panelled Hall offers oak timber walls and spectacular family portraits, creating an atmosphere of opulence.
Couples looking for a more contemporary wedding feel may prefer the elegant yet understated Buchanan Hall, or the spacious Pavilion, with its impressive views of the garden and Italian Terrace.
We also offer two licensed rooms for smaller wedding ceremonies, The Ante Room and Library, both providing inviting, versatile spaces that add grandeur to even the most intimate wedding.

Weddings in the garden
Hodsock Priory’s beautiful gardens were designed by Lady Buchanan in 1967, and are lovingly tended year round by the Estate’s dedicated groundskeepers.
The Georgian-style gazebo is our licensed outdoor venue for civil wedding ceremonies, presenting an elegant backdrop of traditional landscape design overlooking acres of Nottinghamshire countryside.
With so many beautiful spaces available, we also welcome celebrant-led wedding ceremonies, which can take place anywhere in our garden. Declare your love under the Tudor Gatehouse, in the woodlands surrounded by bluebells, or wherever else feels right to you.

Church weddings
Hodsock Priory country house is the ideal choice to celebrate with your loved ones following a religious wedding ceremony at your local church.
The venue is easily accessible from all of the surrounding counties, and just two miles away from the Church of St Mary and St Martin in Blyth. We would love nothing more than to welcome newlyweds and their guests to eat, drink and dance the night away at our exclusive wedding venue.

Wedding receptions
Whichever location you choose for your wedding ceremony, you can enjoy a beautifully elegant reception at Hodsock Priory.
The Pavilion offers a truly flexible space for dining, dancing and celebrating love with your nearest and dearest. Our glamorous House Bar and Italian Terrace are fabulous spots for your guests to enjoy celebratory drinks, while the Pavilion’s wooden floor is perfect for the first dance or tossing the bouquet.
If you would rather celebrate outside, you can hold your wedding reception in our magnificent gardens, enjoying a hog roast or barbecue whilst surrounded by nature.
